Steampunk Revolution

Nashua, New Hampshire

Jake von Slatt demonstrates his built-from-home-center-stuff Wimshurst Machine.
The first part, no doubt, of a planned Do-It-Yourself Laboratory Essentials instruction course.

The Steampunk Revolution was awesome!  Vivianne, Aurelia, Kathryn and I arrived in time for the fashion show, checked out Jake von Slatt's punked roadster and bus, roamed the art gallery and room after room of merchants, picnicked in the lobby on cucumber sandwiches and tea, and very much enjoyed a series of plays and recitations, and performances from Diabolis in Musica, The Graces, Emperor Norton’s Stationary Marching Band, The Psyche Corporation, and Mighty Tiny.  For me, the high point of the event was being trapped in a crowded hall with Emperor Norton's in full swing!
