Steampunk Festival

Waltham Massachusetts

The venue for the festival was the Museum of Industry and Innovation in Waltham, and its vast collection of Victorian era machinery made a fantastic backdrop for a steampunk event!  We toured displays of both fact and fantasy, listened in on a rather good lecture on the context of Steampunk, and eventually retired to a shaded park on the river to demonstrate the Rotary Sheep Reducer.  Tons of folk, mostly coming to and from the event, stopped by to check out the Reducer, chat, and take photographs.  An entirely enjoyable trip.
